LaunchTime is an application that allows you to schedule the automatic launch of other applications.
How does LaunchTime work?
To begin using LaunchTime, add an application that you wish to launch at a particular time, to LaunchTime's list. You may add items to this list by selecting "Add App..." from the File menu, or by dragging an application into LaunchTime's window. After successfully adding an item to LaunchTime's list, you may set the launch frequency, and the date and time of the next launch. After settings these two fields, you're all set, just let LaunchTime run, and it will take care of the rest. You may add as many items as you like to this list. To remove an item from the list, select the application's icon from the list, and select "Clear" from the edit menu. Alternatively, you may drag the item to the Trash. LaunchTime must be left running to work correctly, unfortunately it won't launch itself. Also, although LaunchTime saves your settings for you often, and when you Quit, you may want to select Save Settings from the File menu anyway.
So that's it?
Well for now, yes. But LaunchTime v2.0 is already under development. Planned additions include more robust launching. More scheduling features. Patchin' up a few holes with drag-n-drop. Allow documents to be scheduled. Anything else I think of.
What does it cost?
LaunchTime is shareware. If you think LaunchTime is useful, all I ask that you fill out the registration form, and send $10 to the address below. Registered users will receive version 2 at no cost.
